It seems like the title for quite a few articles and even books these days; it's the title of the latest Americas Quarterly, an excellent publication from the Council of the Americas, and of a recent book by political scientists Riordan Roett. I'll review the book in the next week or so, but while I recover from my time off, here are the Brazil articles from the latest Americas Quarterly, which are an interesting read.
The New Brazil and the Changing Hemisphere
Reflections on Brazil's Rise, by Celso Amorim
One Foot in the Region; Eyes on the Global Prize, by Matías Spektor
The Opportunities and Challenges for President Dilma Rousseff, by Roberto Setubal
Complete Brazil and Latin America content available from this issue available here and below.
